The Virginia Tech Department of Music presents a Masterclass with Cellist David Finkel on Sunday, November 17th in the Squires Recital Salon.

Named Musical America’s 2012 Musicians of the Year, cellist David Finckel along with his partner pianist Wu Han rank among the most esteemed and influential classical musicians in the world today. Their appearances take them to the world’s most prestigious concert series and festivals as soloists, as a duo, and in a trio with violinist Philip Setzer. David additionally served as cellist of the Emerson String Quartet for thirty-four seasons.
