The Blacksburg Library presents Greening the Holidays on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.

The holiday season is a great time to think about environmental sustainability. Stop by our annual Sustainable Blacksburg Greening the Holidays Open House and explore ways to find true holiday spirit by using less of the world's goods, reducing consumption and saving energy.

Learn creative new ideas for recycled/green decorations & gift wrapping, green gifts, local & sustainable holiday food and entertaining, and reducing energy consumption. This family-friendly event features craft stations for all ages, a drawing to win green gifts, and tasty samples of local foods and hot beverages.
