Description:
Downtown Blacksburg presents the 5th Annual Pretty In Pink Happy Hour Fundraiser for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation on Thursday, October 24th inside the Kent Square lobby.

Join us in the Kent Square lobby for drinks, food, and music to help raise funds and awareness for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation.

Dr. Carla Finkielstein, Board Member of VBCF and Associate Professor at Virginia Tech, will share how research in Blacksburg is working to eradicate Breast Cancer. Carilion Clinic will also have information available about breast health, mammography, and enrollment in Every Women's Life.

Other activities at the Happy Hour include:
• DJ Kerri Taylor with Music for the Tata's
• Silent Auction organized by the Blacksburg Junior Women's Club
• PINK Margaritas from Cabo Fish Taco
• Food from Cafe de Bangkok, Champs, Papa John’s, Rita’s, & Sharkey’s Wing and Rib Joint
• Pink Cupcakes with Gemstones for $5 and chance to win a Half Carat Diamond sponsored and available at Next Door Bake Shop and Kent Jewelers while they last.
• Blacksburg High School Photography Student's taking paparazzi photos

In addition to the Happy Hour event, all day participating Downtown Blacksburg merchants will be donating a percentage of their proceeds for the day. Look for the PINK ribbon on display or the link below to see participating merchants.
