Description:
The 12th New River Art Biennial Exhibition reception and awards ceremony will be held on Friday, October 18th at the Perspective Art Gallery located in Virginia Tech's Squires Student Center.

The New River Art Biennial juried exhibition features 35 pieces of art from 25 artists within 150 miles of Blacksburg. This group of artworks, both 2D and 3D, were selected from over 200 submitted works.

This excellent exhibit is in Perspective Gallery inside of the Squires Student Center on College Avenue in Blacksburg, across the street from the Lyric Theater.

Hours are 5-9 pm. Awards presentation at 6 pm. The reception features refreshments and music by Smartmouth.

The exhibition will remain on display in the Perspective Gallery until November 7, 2013.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Show administered by Blacksburg Regional Art Association in cooperation with Jacksonville Center for the Arts in Floyd, The Fine Arts Center of the New River Valley in Pulaski and the New River Land Trust. The awards were funded by 8 businesses or individuals.
