The Blacksburg Community Strings present their Fall Concert titled "Love & Death" on Saturday, November 16th in the Blacksburg High School auditorium.
Love & Death are contemplated by The Blacksburg Community Strings under the baton of Ake-Eric Renqvist. Featured soloists are Bruce McGarvey, clarinet, and Alistair Leon Kok, viola, performing Double Concerto in E Minor by Max Bruch. Solo Cello John Crawford will perform Trauermusik by Paul Hindemith. Pelleas & Melisande and Romanze in C, both by Jean Sibelius, complete the reflection on the theme.
Admission is free and the public is welcome.
The new Blacksburg High School is located at 3109 Prices Fork Road in Blacksburg, VA.
