The Blacksburg Jr. Women's Club is hosting a Purse Auction and Fun Girls' Night Out to benefit Lily's Playground in the NRV Mall at the German Club Manor on Friday, November 8th.

Come out and join us for heavy hors d'œuvres, desserts, a cash bar, and non-alcoholic drinks. A variety of purses containing fun "surprise" items will be up for bid via silent auction with all proceeds benefiting Lily's Playground.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased at http://groupspaces.com/bjwc for $25, which includes food, non-alcoholic drinks, and one alcoholic drink ticket.

Lily's Playground is an indoor play area to be constructed in the New River Valley Mall by the MOMS Club of Christiansburg in honor of Lily Robertson.

Lily Robertson is a sweet Christiansburg 3 year old who was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) in July 2012. MLD is a painful and eventually terminal genetic disease in which late infantile patients, like Lily, have a life expectancy of about 5 years. Unfortunately, there is currently no known cure.
