VT Helping P.A.W.S. volunteers Dr. Corrigan, Virginia Yarrington and Robyn Fox bring their certified therapy dogs for individualized reading time. Children who are struggling to improve their reading skills are often greatly comforted and encouraged by a wagging tail! Meet the Golden Retriever, Yogi; the Black Labrador, Rita; and the Beagle-mix, Kaiya! Bring your young reader and a book with which they are already familiar. Reserve a 10 minute reading slot for your child by calling 540 552-8246 or emailing Elizabeth at esensabaugh@mfrl.org. Walk-ins are also welcome and will be scheduled in the order in which they are received.
