New River Art Biennial October 2 – November 8, 2013, opening reception Friday October 18, 2013 5 – 9 PM in cooperation with the New River Land Trust. 26 artists from within 150 miles of Blacksburg have been juried into this exhibit of 36 works. The New River Art 2013 Juried Biennial began in 1991 as one of the few biennial art exhibitions aimed at showcasing talented artists in the New River Valley of Virginia. This year’s 12th exhibition will be in Virginia Tech’s Perspective Gallery located inside the Squires Student Center on College Avenue. New River Art 2013 is working in cooperation with the New River Land Trust.
