BT's welcomes Matt Jones and the Bobs to the stage on Saturday, October 5th.

Matt Jones and The Bobs formed in the winter of 2012 in Radford, VA. Initially, Jonathan Crandall and Pat Keefe were drawn to Matt’s thoughtful storylines and catchy memorable melodies. Matt’s homesick vocals combined with piano, electric guitar, and lyrical harmonies began what became a vigorous self propelled mission to be heard. Eventually, the band sought out other seasoned musicians: Keegan Lemcke (mandolin) and Trevor Creany (drums) which only perpetuated this group’s effective dynamic sound.

This five piece does a seamless job of combing rooty folk songs and old time bluegrass chops with their own Americana-indie spin. With their first studio album under way, Matt Jones and Pat Keefe’s tireless songwriting is in full swing and you can be sure of hearing more and more of Matt Jones & The Bobs in the days to come.
