Description:
The Virginia Tech Department of Theatre presents the Tennessee Williams play "Suddenly Last Summer" directed by Bob McGrath in the Haymarket Theater located in the Squires Student Center on October 1-4 and October 6 at 7:30 pm. There will also be a matinee showing at 2 pm on October 6.

A wealthy New Orleans society matron attempts to lobotomize her niece Catherine in an attempt to cover up the truth about her son Sebastian's sudden death in Spain. A young surgeon, under pressure to perform surgery on Catherine in order to win a million dollar grant for the hospital, tires to unravel the mystery of Sebastian's death as the play explores the themes of guilt, destructiveness, and the search for truth.
