Description:
The 2013 Pembroke Heritage Festival will be held in downtown Pembroke on Saturday, October 5th.

Enjoy a full day of family fun including live music and entertainment, card tournaments, a Pet Show, games, food and craft vendors, movie and popcorn on the lawn and dueling fireworks show at night!

Entertainment Schedule:
• 10:00-11:00 am: Brown's DJ
• 11:00-1:00 pm: Train Wreck - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Train-Wreck-classic-rockbluesfunk/344242695929
• 2:00-3:00 pm: Giles Dance Academy
• 3:30-4:30 pm: Robert Lawson Kung Fu Class
• 8:00 pm: Dueling Fireworks Show (Commissary Hill & behind the Pembroke Laundry)

The 4-H Youth Development of Giles County Games Schedule:
• 10 AM - Sack Race
• 11 AM - Sunflower Seed Spitting Contest
• Noon - Corn Cob Eating Contest
• 1 PM - 3-Legged Race
• 2 PM - Cornhole Tournment
• 3 PM - Milk Bottle Toss
• 4 PM - Hay Bale Toss

The Pet Show will begin judging at 2 pm and prizes will be awarded at 3 pm. There are a variety of categories and prizes will be awarded. Your pets must be on a leash or cages.

NOTE: No exotic pets allowed.

The Bingo, Horseshoe Contest and Round Robin Card game will start at 11 am in the Pembroke Activity Building. Prizes will be awarded. To sign-up in advance, call: 540-626-7772 or show up at 10 am.

Charlotte's Web will be the Movie on the Lawn showing at the Pemtel parking lot complete with popcorn. Make sure to bring your chairs and blankets.

The Pembroke Festival will be held on Snidow Street from the Pembroke Telephone Company to Ellen Street. Pembroke is located within Giles County, Virginia.
