The Radford University English Club presents If Trouble Don't Kill Me: Reading with Music by Ralph Berrier, Jr. on Thursday, October 3rd in the Hurlburt Student Center, rooms 248-250.
Join us for a celebration of writing and music with award-winning journalist and author Ralph Berrier, Jr. and music guests The Java Brothers. Enjoy a little history, a lot of storytelling, and some fine traditional music!
Admission is free and a reception will follow. All are welcome.
Ralph Berrier, Jr. is a features reporter at The Roanoke Times. He has written extensively about Virginia’s mountain music history. "If Trouble Don’t Kill Me" is Ralph’s first book.
Ralph’s work has been honored by the Scripps Howard Foundation’s National Jounalism Awards, the American Association of Sunday and Feature Editors, the Atlantic City Press Club’s National Headliner Awards, the Newspaper Association of American and the Virginia Press Association.
