The City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation offers a Harpers Ferry Weekend Getaway from Saturday, October 12th until Sunday, October 13th.

West Virginia’s beautiful Harpers Ferry is one of America’s treasures. Join City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation for a weekend get-away and see why Thomas Jefferson called Harpers Ferry perhaps one of the most stupendous scenes in Nature. Throughout the weekend we will visit the Appalachian Trail Headquarters, hike to picturesque views, stroll historic downtown, visit exhibits and museums. We have something for everyone, so come with us and discover Harpers Ferry!

Trip dates: October 12-13, 2013

Registration Fee: $139 (includes, transportation, lodging and leadership)

Registration deadline: October 7, 2013

NOTE: Must have participating adult if under the age of 18.
