The Visiting Artist Series continues with The Kandinsky Trio on Sunday, September 22nd in the Squires Recital Salon.

Continuing their second season of their 25th anniversary celebration, the Kandinsky Trio presents three new pieces from the 25 x 25 project. This concert features commissions by Dan Cavanagh, Hank Hehmsoth, and highlights the "The Desert Wanderer" by Richard Danielpour.

He has been called "an outstanding composer for any time - one who knows how to communicate deep, important emotions through simple, direct means that nevertheless do not compromise with complicated, contemporary thought." (The New York Daily News). Haydn's Trio in C major and Ravel’s ravishing Trio in A Minor will complete the program.

Tickets are available at the Student Centers and Activities Office and at the performance hall door one hour prior to the performance on a seats-available basis.
