Description:
The Radford University Department of Theatre and Cinema presents "The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek" by Naomi Wallace in the Hawes Studio Theatre.
In a small, rural town suffocated by the Great Depression two teenagers strike up an unlikely friendship as they try to outrun their frustrations and the shattered lives of their parents. But they might sooner outrun that old locomotive that streaks across the trestle outside of town. The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek is Naomi Wallace’s starkly poetic portrait of adolescent angst and human longing.
