Join the Garden Walk and Talk on Wednesday, September 18th entitled “Sustainability at the Hahn Horticulture Garden”.

Sustainable gardening practices can go beyond food production to include landscape plants and lawns. Join Dr. Holly Scoggins (Garden Director), Stephanie Huckestein (Education and Outreach Coordinator), and Paul Chumbley (Horticulturist) for this walking tour. See what we’re doing at the Hahn Garden to care for our campus garden while reducing our impact on the environment.

These fun and informative walks and talks all start at the Peggy Lee Hahn Garden Pavilion.

No registration required. Parking passes available at Pavilion for Visitors only. Faculty and staff must park in designated Faculty/Staff spaces.

Note: Rain cancels the walk.

This event is part of Celebrate Sustainability 2013, an event celebrating eco-friendly efforts and enthusiasm in our community! The Town of Blacksburg, Virginia Tech and Sustainable Blacksburg come together each year to recognize efforts which enhance our relationship with the natural environment.
