The Jessie Peterman Library presents the seminar "Mending a Broken Heart" by Dr. Lynise Anderson on Tuesday, September 17th.

Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women. Up to 80% of the incidents of heart disease can be prevented through the modification of risk factors.

In this seminar, Dr. Lynise Anderson will discuss the role of cholesterol, fat and sugar in heart health and how a healthy diet and exercise can help mitigate or prevent heart disease.
