Description:
The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents their first Visiting Artist Series concert of the 2013/14 school year featuring Mathieu Dufour on flute and Tracy Cowden on piano on Sunday, September 8th in the Squires Recital Salon.

Mathieu Defour is principal flute of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and previously was principal flute solo of the Paris National Opera Orchestra. He has won prizes at the Jean-Pierre Rampal International Flute Competition and the International Flute Competitions in Budapest and in Kobe, Japan.
