The Giving Tree Food Pantry is a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax exempt food pantry that works to serve the needs of our neighbors in the New River Valley since 2010. The goal of our pantry is to serve all who come seeking food without exception.
In these hard economic times, there are many individuals and families that do not fall within the strict guidelines to receive assistance from other public agencies. Our dedicated all volunteer group organizes food drives, shops for food, and assists with weekly distribution. We regularly log over 180 volunteer hours per month.
Thanks to the generous donations of time and effort on the part of our volunteers and no overhead fees, 100% of all monetary donations go towards buying food from local suppliers for local families in need.
The Giving Tree Food Pantry is located inside Fieldstone United Methodist Church on 3385 North Franklin Street in Christiansburg, Virginia.
