BT's welcomes Merchants of Seven to the stage on Saturday, September 7th. The music will begin around 9 pm.

Merchants of Seven began as an acoustic duo with members Wesley Fox and Ian Patrick in the dormitories of Virginia Tech. After a few open mics in Blacksburg, the two decided to expand to a four-piece group. With the addition of Jackson Stitzer on bass guitar and Nick Macioce on drums, they developed their unique sound and expanded their repertoire to 30+ original songs as well as numerous covers.

Merchants of Seven have developed a loyal, local fanbase honing their stage presence on the stages and bars of Southwest Virginia. They are currently playing shows throughout Virginia and the East Coast while simultaneously working on recording their considerable collection of original songs. Their original material involves instrumental technicality focusing on the interplay of melodic phrases bouncing back and forth between vocals and catchy guitar riffs. With musical influences ranging from beach rock to pop-punk, every listener is bound to take an interest in their sound.
