Description:
Radford University College of Visual and Performing Arts presents a new exhibit by artist Lucio Boshi entitled "Andean Lives".

Argentine photographer Lucio Boschi has largely devoted himself to shooting the mountain people of the Andes and Himalayas, drawn to the simplicity and toughness of their lives and their dramatic surroundings. This show of black-and-white photographs taken in the Andes is one of exceptional and profound beauty. These are not the photographs of an outsider looking at a foreign culture, but rather those of a man who found in small details and ordinary scenes, majesty and mystery. His ease in that world gives viewers remarkable access. This exhibit is made possible by sponsorship by Mendoza Art Partners.

Luci Boschi Artist Talk on Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. at the Performance Hall at the Covington Center, followed by an artist reception.

The exhibit will be on display until Sunday, October 27, 2013.
