Description:
Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival opens its 21st year on the weekend of September 28th-29th and will continue through every weekend in October.
The Festival welcomes visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. The corn maze is also open after dark from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursdays through weekends.
Take a hayride to the patch and select from Virginia’s finest pumpkins (our best crop ever). There is something for everyone: children’s activities, pony and cart rides, horseback trail rides, corn maze, a barn full of farmyard animals, local arts and crafts vendors, and pumpkin cannons. We have colorful face painting for the little ones, local arts and crafts vendors, plenty of tasty, food, the BEST Kettle Korn in the country and ice cream.
Local, live music will begin at 1 pm EVERY WEEKEND AFTERNOON and will feature a variety of sound from some of the area’s best musicians. You can enjoy flash mob experiences which could occur at any time during the five weekends, AND guest appearances of the 18 foot tall Hokietron.
The Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival is the regions’s longest running pumpkin festival and is an annual fall tradition that the entire family can enjoy. The pumpkin selection is huge with all sizes, shapes and colors for outstanding fall décor.
Sinkland Farms is located at 3020 Riner Road, just outside of Christiansburg. Take I-81 to Exit 114, travel south on Route 8 towards Riner/Floyd for 2.2 miles. The farm is on the left.
