Enjoy performance art, lyric poetry and music with Spectral Arts and the Blue Ridge Workshop Writers at the first annual Glen Alton Poetry event on Saturday, August 31st at the Glen Alton Farm located within the Glen Alton Recreation Area in Giles County.
Glen Alton Poetry is a new annual event created to support Blue Ridge Workshop and local Appalachian Poets and is sponsored by the United Writers of the Virginias. Admission is free.
Line-Up includes:
- Spectral Arts - Christiansburg, VA - Performs spontaneous lyric poetry layered with guitar and percussion. -

Turn left onto Glen Alton Road (SR 722). Go across a small bridge, then follow the road on the right (Nettle Hollow Road). Park at the gate.
