Description:
The Blacksburg Partnership presents the 5th Annual, award-winning craft beer festival, the Blacksburg Brew Do on Saturday, September 14th at the First & Main Shopping Center from 12-6 pm.

Last fall’s Brew Do event drew over 4,500 festival goers and 40 breweries pouring over 100 different beer varieties. This year the festival welcomes back the best in craft brewers from the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond, offering another outstanding selection of ales, lagers, stouts, pilsners, ciders, and specialty beers.

The festival area is expanding this year to increase the footprint by 30%, allowing more room for beer lovers to enjoy the festival’s delightful amenities.

Delicious food, cooking and brewing demonstrations, tailgate games, and live entertainment will compliment a great day of beer tasting.

The Boatmen will headline the Main Stage from 3-6 pm and new to this year’s festival will be a side stage featuring old-time music from the area’s best pickers.

Tasting tickets are available for either 10 or 20 tastings. Designated drivers, non-drinkers and guests ages 13-20 can purchase admission-only tickets for $5 in advance.

Tastings are 4 ounces each and tasting tickets also include a souvenir beer tasting glass. Admission-only tickets include access to music, cooking demonstrations and other non-tasting festival events.

Tickets will be available for purchase online (link opened soon) as well as both Blacksburg Kroger locations. If advanced tickets remain, tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the festival.

Note: The 2013 Fork & Cork Festival sold out very early and the 2012 Brew Do was a sell out as well, you are strongly encouraged to purchase your tickets in advance.

Remember to bring your ID as everyone will be ID'd at the gate. You are also encouraged to bring cash as not all vendors accept credit/debit cards.

Friendly pets on a leash are welcome to attend. And, attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the festival.
