Description:
The Mount Tabor Ruritan Club presents a free showing of "An American Tail" as part of the Town of Blacksburg's Independence Day festivities at The Lyric Theatre on Thursday, July 4th immediately following the parade.

The estimated start time is between 2:30-3 pm.

An American Tail, rated G, follows the adventure of a young Russian mouse named Fievel who gets separated from his family while emigrating to the United States. Fievel must relocate his family while trying to survive in a new country.

The annual Independence Day Parade will begin at 2 pm followed by An American Tail at The Lyric Theatre both sponsored by the Mt. Tabor Ruritan Club. At 6 pm, come over to Municipal Park to enjoy music from the Blacksburg Community Band and stay for the Town of Blacksburg’s fireworks display at 9 pm.
