Description:
Join the Town of Blacksburg in celebrating America's Independence Day with their annual Independence Day Parade on Thursday, July 4th.

The Independence Day Parade will start at the old Blacksburg Middle School property and will run through downtown on Main Street. The parade features floats and vehicles from various local organizations, businesses and civic groups.

The parade will be followed by a free movie, An American Tail, at The Lyric Theatre, both sponsored by the Mt. Tabor Ruritan Club. At 6 pm, come over to Municipal Park to enjoy music from the Blacksburg Community Band and stay for the Town of Blacksburg’s fireworks display at 9 pm.
