The Coal Mining Heritage Association of Montgomery County will be holding its 20th Annual Coal Miners Day Celebration at McCoy Park on Saturday, June 8th.

There will be live music from Bluegrass, Country, and Gospel bands, Mining Exhibits, crafts, a Silent Auction, and food for purchase. At 2pm there will be a memorial ceremony honoring former coal miners.

Admission is free and open to the public.

McCoy Park is located behind the Longshop-McCoy Fire Station at 5770 McCoy Road in Blacksburg, Virginia.
