Description:
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers the class Metal Ornament Experience with Darcy Meeker on Saturday, December 14th.

Class Description:
Bring the family and have some fun making aluminum and copper ornaments will be cut and designed using embossing techniques. Various methods of decorating and coloring the ornaments will be taught including flame work techniques on copper, paint, and multi-media embellishment techniques. Students may bring their own personal pictures or favorite patterns, shapes, and sketches to incorporate into the design of their ornament (3 in x 3 in).

Each student will be provided with supplies to create at least four 3x3 inch metal ornaments.

Optional Materials to bring to decorate ornaments - (Darcy will have extra): Pine Cones, Glitter, Buttons, Ribbons, Beads, and anything else you would like to incorporate into your ornament’s design.

Materials Fee: $10
Minimum Enrollment, 3: Maximum Enrollment, 12
Minimum Age: Responsible Young Adult
