Description:
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers a two day class Solid and Blown Glass Ornaments with Liz Mears on Sautrday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th meeting from 9am-5pm daily.

Class Description:
Impress your friends and family by decorating your house with your very own handmade solid and blown glass ornaments. In this two day workshop you will work in a safe and supportive environment as the instructor guides you through the process of using an oxy-propane torch and borosilicate glass rods to help you create your very own one of a kind ornaments. Focus will be given to making ornaments/window hangs/shade and fan pulls such as icicles, twists, snowflakes, animal shapes, angels, and hollow ornaments, etc. Participants will practice each shape first with clear glass then create with color as time allows.

Minimum Enrollment, 3: Maximum Enrollment, 5
Minimum Age: Responsible Young Adult
