Description:
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers the two day class Copper/Aluminum/Pewter Sculpture Experience with Darcy Meeker meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 12-13th from 9am-5pm daily.

Class Description:
Embossed metal wall paintings/sculptures will be created using copper, aluminum, and pewter. Students will learn the technique of using fire to create iridescence on copper. Students can use personal pictures or favorite patterns, shapes, and sketches to trace embossing designs into the metal. Students will be provided with materials to make three embossed metal wall paintings/sculptures. Materials to bring: Sketch book or drawing pad, photos etc.

Materials Fee: $75
Minimum Enrollment, 3: Maximum Enrollment, 12
Minimum Age: Responsible Young Adult
