Description:
The Jacksonville Center for the Arts offers a two day class titled Throwing Bowls and Slip Decoration with instructor Sidra Kaluszka on Saturday, September 14th and Sunday, September 15th from 9 am - 5 pm daily.

Class Description:
Guided by potter and teacher, Sidra Kaluszka, you will start by throwing multiple bowl vessels. Sidra will help her students one-on-one to correctly throw on the wheel and make different sizes and shapes of bowls. Then she will demonstrate her unique style of slip decoration by painting with slip to create organic designs on the bowls. Work will dry and be fired after the class. Students may choose a glaze for Sidra to apply to the works as well.

Materials Fee: $25
Minimum Enrollment: 3, Maximum Enrollment: 6
Minimum Age: Responsible Young Adult
