Description:
The 22nd Annual Wilderness Road Ride takes place Saturday, May 25th of Memorial Day weekend beginning at the Radford University's Dedmon Center.
Enjoy a scenic and historical adventure through southwest Virginia’s beautiful New River Valley, the ride follows part of Daniel Boone’s Wilderness Road. This is a ride for the whole family to enjoy, with something for everyone— 6 routes to choose from ranging from a 14 mile relaxed journey for novices, to a 100 mile century challenge for the fittest cyclist.
The Ride starts out in Radford and runs right into Christiansburg. Then proceeds into Riner. There are two rest stops in Montgomery County where riders get served a variety of snacks, water and treats. The ride then runs into either Pulaski County, or heads back to Radford, depending on your adventure for the day.
