Join the Blacksburg Price House Nature Center on Saturday, May 4th for a special program entitled "Our Cross-Country Relatives: Rare and Beautiful Reptiles of the West".
Come and see some of the most beautiful and rare rattlesnakes and lizards of the western US such as the beautiful blue-eyed white speckled rattlesnake. Some surprises will include one of the only species of boa native to the United States and what is one of the most strikingly colored venomous lizards of the world.
Don’t worry, all the animals will be specially contained and in a secured location of the center (off limits to hands young and old).
The event also features “Fur, Feathers, and Scales”, Dr. Kerri Cooper-Bailey, and DVM and Mr. Phillip Bailey, a licensed falconer.
