The event, Paws For A Cause, is a 2.5 mile walk/run on the Virginia Tech Cross Country course on Sunday, April 28th.

This event is being held to honor of animals that have been abused, mistreated, or abandoned and to raise money for local animal shelters. All money raised will be donated to Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care and Control and the Giles County Animal Rescue.

At the event we will be having a bake sale, music, games, and lots of dogs! This event is open to the public and participants are ENCOURAGED to bring their dogs!

Prizes will be given out to participants that finish in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, but only those who walk/run with a dog.
