Virginia Tech's Turner Place, located inside Lavery Hall, will host "A Taste of Virginia Tech" complete with a food tasting and insight from the book's authors on Friday, April 19th.
"A Taste of Virginia Tech" is a literary celebration of Virginia Tech's culinary culture. Stop by and meet authors and alumnae, Kris Schoels (2005) and Krista Gallagher (2003) and hear how this cookbook went from idea to reality.
You can also sample signature dishes from Turner Place and West End Market, like London Broil, Maque Choux, and smoothies. Also presenting will be the book's publisher and CEO of Mascot Books, Naren Aryal (1992).
This event is open to the public and part of the Family Weekend offering of events.
