The Blacksburg Newcomers Club will hold their April meeting on Tuesday, April 9th at the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church starting at 9 am.

Guests are welcome to attend our monthly meetings to learn more about our club for free.

Social hour, which includes coffee and refreshments, starts at 9:00 am, followed by the group’s business meeting and a fun, informative program beginning at 10:00 am. Free child care is provided for all meetings.

We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month for a general meeting which includes a social time and a fun, informative program from 9-11:30 am at Luther Memorial Church on the corner of Tom's Creek and Prices Fork Roads in Blacksburg.

Residents may join at any time after moving to the area for a fee of $20/year and childcare is provided free of charge. As a member you will receive a monthly newsletter that includes general meeting and interest group information.

Since the 1960s, people who have made Blacksburg and the New River Valley their home have found the transition made easier by joining the Blacksburg Newcomers’ Club. Members provide a warm welcome to the New River Valley with monthly programs, special events, projects to help local charities, and interest groups to share hobbies.
