The Colorado Quintet returns to Virginia Tech to finish their performance cycle of complete Beethoven string quartet with two separate programs on Saturday, April 13th at 8 pm and Sunday, April 14th at 3 pm in Squires Recital Salon.

Join us for a delightful weekend with this fine string quartet.

The Colorado Quartet has been a groundbreaking ensemble for nearly three decades. Catapulted onto the scene by back-to-back wins at the Banff International String Quartet and Naumburg competitions, it was the first all-women quartet to attain international stature. The first female quartet in history to perform the complete Beethoven Quartet cycle in Europe and North America, its recording of the cycle is available on the Parnassus label.
