Description:
The League of Women Voters presents "Granny D is coming to Blacksburg", a one-hour performance of the life of Granny D on Sunday, April 21st at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Blacksburg.

Granny D walked across the US at age 90 for campaign finance reform. Now, actress Barbara Bates Smith is bringing her back to life, with music by Jeff Sebens.

The performance is about the life of Granny D, an inspiring women who worked for non-partisan election reform and voter registration
efforts. The performance promotes no partisan political agenda.

The event is a benefit for the League of Women Voters.
