Description:
The Radford University Museum of Earth Sciences presents Geology Professor Chuck Bailey to discuss Virginia's Earthquakes, tectonic history and future of the region on Tuesday, March 5th in the Bonnie Auditorium.

Virginia is riddled with geologic faults. Some are ancient and some are active-kicking off, widely felt earthquakes. Join Professor Chuck Bailey for a look at Virginia's faults, who will discuss their past, present and future activity.

Dr. Chuck Bailey is a professor of Geology at William & Mary and his research focuses on the structural geology and tectonics of the Appalachian Mountains.
