A donation or fundraising goal of $50.00 per competitor is suggested. However, any donation or fundraising will be accepted as your registration.

Description:
The American Heart Association and Alpha Phi present the 2013 HeartChase Blacksburg on Sunday, April 14th beginning at the Virginia Tech Duck Pond and continuing across the Virginia Tech campus.

In HeartChase, your town becomes an adventure. Think of the around-town excitement from shows like The Amazing Race™ meets wacky team-based games like Minute-to-Win-It™ and Double Dare™. And when you combine awesome games, friendly competition, and a very important mission, you've got great fun with a purpose.

The HeartChase event brings friends and neighbors together in a competition to solve puzzles and complete challenges in a race to see who can earn the most points before the game ends.

Race Day Schedule:
Registration: 1 pm
Race: 2-4 pm

HeartChase participants form teams of 2-5 individuals, and using the HeartChase smartphone app, are directed to their challenges and next stages of the race. If you do not have a team, you can still participate as you can request to be assigned to a team.

Note: If you or a team member doesn't have a smartphone, you will still be able to participate.

Registration will close 1 week prior to the event's start date.
