Champs welcomes Matt Jones and The Bobs and Mountaintop Madness to the stage on Friday, April 19th.

This new and unique mix of Folk and Bluegrass has given this band a great start for their first year of playing together. This group of musicians was brought together in early 2012 by a mutual friend, Ben Osborne in Radford, VA. Intrigued by Matt Jones' original songs, Patrick Keefe and Jonathan Crandall began to learn and play them with Matt as often as possible. During this time, Pat brought some of his original songs to the group as well, which quickly became some of their favorites. After a few months of playing together Keegan Lemcke and Trevor Creany joined the group to form the eclectic, powerful sound they have today.

In the process of recording Matt Jones and the Bobs' first album, this group has played a number of live performances all over the Southwest Virginia area at a wide variety of venues Matt Jones and the Bobs were very pleased to be invited to play at their first music festival, Pasture Palooza Music and Arts Festival!

Mountaintop Madness is an four-piece Progressive Experimental Rock band from Winchester, Virginia with influences from Old Crow Medicine Show to Widespread Panic.
