Radford University's School of Dance and Theatre invites you to a gala performance entitled "Timeless: Honoring The Past, Celebrating The Future" on Friday, February 8th at 8 pm and on Saturday, February 9th at 2 pm and 8 pm in the Pridemore Playhouse.

This special collaboration highlighting work by students and faculty will look back over the last hundred years and toward the promise of Radford University’s second century through the unique perspectives of dance and theatre.

The production's original pieces will mix performance disciplines including acting, contemporary dance and voice. In one arrangement, a dancer choreographed a routine set to a choral ode, exposing acting and voice students to the dance process. Students will also perform classic monologues from plays previously produced at the university, including "Our Town," "The Glass Menagerie" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Tickets are free, but should be picked up at Porterfield Box Office (540-831-5289) during the week of the show. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, noon to 6 pm, and one hour before each performance.
