The South Atlantic Humanities Project (SAHP) 2013 will kick off with screening of the film Sin Nombre, a 2009 Mexican-American production adventure thriller written and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga on Friday, February 15th.
The film follows a Honduran teenager who reunites with her long-estranged father and emigrates to America with him in order to start a new life. The film is rated R.
This film screening is the first among many events which will mark the SAHP, which will be organized at Virginia Tech between Feb-May 2013.
The ICAT Studio is located at 460 Turner Street in Blacksburg.
