The Blacksburg Library hosts a special program from Senior Tax Preparer Karen Ellingson on Tuesday, February 5th.

For many people, filing income tax returns provokes stress, anxiety, and confusion. This year, before you file, come listen to Karen Ellingson, Senior Tax Preparer at Common Cents Tax Service, discuss the Top Ten Tax Mistakes Taxpayers Make.

Learn the three biggest mistakes taxpayers make with retirement plans; the biggest mistakes senior citizens make and how it can cost them thousands of dollars; and how changing the way you operate a business can save thousands of dollars in taxes. You will also learn about a method that's been used to overcome the estate tax.

There will be an open Q&A session where individuals can ask their tax questions at the end of the program.
