The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech offers the seminar "Eat Your Yard, Drink Your Yard!" with Nan K. Chase on Thursday, January 31st which will be held at the VBI Auditorium on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Nan shares her top picks for a beautiful, edible landscape that also produces plenty of garden-fresh beverages. With more than 30 years experience gardening and putting up food, her choices include trees, shrubs, vines, and wildflowers of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. She lives in Asheville, N.C., and is the author of Eat Your Yard! - books will be on sale at the seminar!

Directions to VBI: From Rt. 460, turn at the stoplight onto Southgate Drive. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Duck Pond Drive. At the first stop sign, turn right onto Washington Street (VBI is in front of you, on the corner of Duck Pond and Washington). Make the first left turn which takes you into the Litton Reeves parking lot. Then make the first left turn to take to the parking area closest to VBI. You will see large wooden doors, go in the set of glass doors to the right; we will be right inside.
