Gillie's welcomes Gilgumesh to the stage on Saturday, January 19th.

The Gillum brothers began playing music and sharing stages together at an early age. Later life would take them on separate paths as Andrew headed to Brooklyn, NY to immerse himself in the jazz scene while Nathan moved to Nashville, TN and soaked up roots music.

Now they have crossed paths again and started an amazing group called Gillgumesh. Together the duo is able to cover musical ground that would normally take at least twice as many people. Nathan simultaneously plays bass and guitar parts while Andrew creates sophisticated interlocking drum and percussion grooves. Together they create a mesh of sound that astounds people when they realize it's all coming from just two musicians. This makes Gillgumesh an adventure to listen to and watch.

Local musicians are showcased on Thursdays and Saturdays at 7 pm. NO DOOR COVER! Gillie's musicians play for TIPS every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
