Upland Express began in 1974 as a bluegrass band. Over the years, the group has won numerous awards, experienced several personnel replacements and changes in musical tastes, but through it all there remains the tradition of quality performance generated by its members. The present incarnation of Upland boasts an eclectic song list, rendering the group unique reputation as a variety band, and reflects well the diverse musical influences of its members.

The doors open at 5 pm. There is no charge for admission; however, donations will be accepted to help pay travel expenses for the musicians. The jamborees are held the second Saturday of each month through April at NRCC.
