New River Valley Voices proudly presents the annual Fall Reading, featuring select short readings of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction performed by winners of the Fall New River Valley Voices Juried Writing Competition, judged by renowned authors Gyorgyi Voros and Sharyn McCrumb on Sunday, November 18th at the Blacksburg Public Library.
New River Valley Voices is an all-volunteer effort with a twofold mission: to provide NRV writers with a quality forum within which to share their work, and to grow and nurture NRV audiences for the literary arts.
Tony Distler and Greg Justice are working with Jane Goette to enhance the performance aspect of the readings. Sharyn McCrumb and Gyorgyi Voros will be in attendance to autograph and make their books available to attendees.
This event is free and open to the public, so bring friends and family to help support literary arts in the New River Valley. Complimentary light refreshments will be served.
