On November 29th through December 1st, the Department of Music at Radford University will host the 6th Annual Tri-State Chamber Winds Festival. Under the direction of RU Director of Bands Dr. Wayne Gallops, the event will feature RU Applied Wind faculty and students, along with select high school students from Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia.
The RU Faculty Chamber Winds and the University Wind Ensemble will open the festival in concert at 8 pm on Thursday, December 1st in the Performance Hall in the Covington Center at Radford University.
The RU Concert Jazz Ensemble performs on Friday evening, November 30th at 8pm. High School student participants will be featured in concert on Saturday, December 1st at 1pm. All concerts are in the Performance Hall in the Covington Center.
Admission is free and open to the public.
