The YMCA at Virginia Tech offers the class "Surface Decoration 101" on Monday, November 12th in the Y Center Pottery Studio.
In this class learn the basic techniques to enhance the clay surface. Students will learn how to use various techniques using slip, underglazes and how to alter and bring the clay surface to life.
Students should bring several leather hard pieces to try the techniques in class.
